Roma diberitakan ingin mendapatkan striker Adrian Mutu.

Sementara menurut media Italia, peluang terjadinya pertukaran Mutu-Perrotta tidaklah mustahil. Roma sudah memasang harga 15 juta euro. Walaupun pelatih Luciano Spalletti tak ingin Perrotta pindah, mungkin dia berpikir ulang jika kubu La Viola bersedia membayar harga itu.

Brazil forward Julio Baptista has admitted a move from Real Madrid to AS Roma could be an attractive proposition.

Baptista spent much of the last campaign as a substitute at the Bernabeu during another frustrating year in Spain.

The 26-year-old has struggled to break into the first-team picture following a move from Sevilla three years ago and could be on his way to Italy with the Giallorossi.

"Roma are a great club and they play really good football," he admitted.

"At the moment I think that I will be staying in Madrid, but anything is possible in my future."

Meanwhile, Roma have completed the signing of experienced Siena defender Simone Loria and acquired the remaining 50 per cent of forward Mauro Esposito's contract from Cagliari.
